Manufacturing Process Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with R&D and New Product Introduction to develop manufacturing processes and equipment, encompassing cost estimation, parts procurement, assembly, feasibility testing, and precise specification of equipment, tooling, processes, and software programming.

Oversee training and equipment integration, configure manufacturing equipment for stringent process control, sequential operations, operator interfaces, and alarm systems.

Spearhead process innovation, integrate production methodologies, and conduct testing for emerging products through close collaboration with R&D.

Detect opportunities for process automation, assess financial implications, establish time benchmarks, and provide recommendations for optimizing tooling and procedures.

Employ statistical techniques and engineering acumen to refine technologies and processes, sustain production documentation and assembly protocols to ensure systematic operation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proficiency in using CAD drawings and schematics to design and modify manufacturing equipment and tooling, skilled in 3D CAD software like SolidWorks or CREO for drawing modifications.

Competent in AutoCAD for schematic and facility layout development, proficient in statistical analysis tools like MiniTab or equivalents.

Experience with software related to motion control, robotics, PLC, HMI, vision applications, Basic, C/C++.

Expertise in developing manufacturing processes, including motion control, laser welding, liquid injection molding, resistance welding, vision inspection, and assembly automation.
