This entry-level role involves managing and inputting data related to workers' compensation claims, utilizing claims tracking software to review and evaluate case details./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliAccurately input, maintain, and update case-related information in the company's database systems./liliAssist with the processing of workers' compensation claims, including research and documentation of case files./liliCommunicate effectively with medical and insurance professionals to gather required documentation and ensure cases progress efficiently./liliUse claims tracking software to monitor the status of return-to-work cases./liliReview case files for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all data is properly documented./liliHandle inbound and outbound communications in a professional manner, both via email and telephone./liliCollaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality in all data-related tasks./liliAdhere to confidentiality and data privacy regulations./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliEducation: Bachelor's degree or Associate degree, plus a minimum of two years of office experience./liliTyping: Proficient typing skills with a speed of at least 40 words per minute./liliSoftware Proficiency: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with database management systems./liliAttention to Detail: Demonstrated experience in data entry with strong attention to accuracy and detail./liliCommunication: Professional telephone manner and strong business writing skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and composition./liliVaccination Requirement: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to provide proof of vaccination./liliAnimal-Friendly Environment: Comfortable working in an office that occasionally has dogs and foster kittens as visitors./li/ulpbDesired Skills & Experience:/b/pulliPrevious experience working with data entry in a medical office, billing, or insurance environment./liliExperience utilizing databases for data entry, conducting searches, and generating reports./liliAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word formatting and proficiency with Excel formulas, including experience in organizing and analyzing data./li/ulpFamiliarity with medical or insurance-related terminology is a plus, but not required./p
