Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to support our rocket engine testing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct test firings of rocket propulsion systems.
  • Configure, program, and manage data acquisition (DAQ) systems for liquid rocket engine hot fire evaluations.
  • Handle intricate tasks related to the establishment and operation of DAQ systems, including the calibration of measurement instruments.
  • Provide effective solutions to challenges encountered during assigned duties.
  • Analyze and process data from hot fire tests.
  • Ensure correct connections of test cell instruments to the DAQ systems.
  • Establish and validate instrumentation setups within test cells.
  • Execute advanced modifications and repairs on electronic systems and components.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate various measurement devices such as gauges, transducers, and flow meters.
  • Adhere to established documentation, procedures, and technical drawings.
  • Occasionally engage in activities within rocket test environments.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • An Associate's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years as an APDT or 6 years of related experience, OR a four-year technical degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years as an APDT or 4 years of related experience.

Additional Information:

  • Work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
  • This position requires 100% onsite presence.
