Job Opportunity: Fiber Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Installation Specialist to join our team at CS Contract Solutions in Ohio. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fiber optic internet services for residential and commercial customers.

Compensation: The salary for this position is estimated to be between $104k - 208k per year, depending on experience and performance. Our company offers highly competitive pay, health insurance, vision and dental insurance, PTO, life insurance, and a 401k plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain fiber optic systems for residential and commercial customers.
  • Ensure adequate performance of internet, phone, and television services.
  • Complete pre-install work orders and post-install service verification to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Place aerial or buried fiber optic drops and install interior and exterior wiring.
  • Observe all safety rules and OSHA regulations.
  • Work at heights using various types of ladders.
  • Work in confined spaces.
  • Teamwork - Assist other technicians in the performance of their duties when requested.
  • Maintain a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating with customers.

Requirements:

  • Fiber optic internet and home phone service experience preferred (paid training available).
  • Must satisfy company-required tools and safety equipment checklist.
  • Own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack required.
  • Must have own tools to perform the job.
  • Android smartphone and laptop (with MS Excel) required.
  • Lift up to 80lbs unassisted.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  • Pass background check, MVR screen, and drug test.
  • Be accountable and dependable.
