Manager, Value Based Payment Specialist

VillageCare is seeking an experienced Manager of Value Based Payment to support the design and execution of Value Based Payment arrangements. The position provides critical support to the Strategy & Innovation team, ensuring Value Based Payment arrangements are designed and aligned with VillageCareMax's organizational strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and analyze data to identify opportunities in provider performance, and facilitate data and/or analytics to support implementation of VBP agreements and strategic plans.
- Coordinate Joint Operating Committee meetings and ensure actionable information is provided.
- Review and interpret varied and complex health care, clinical, utilization, and cost data to provide actionable insights to our providers.
- Proactively identify questions and hypotheses to be answered to support business and strategic planning.
- Review medical claims data, develop executive summaries, and identify opportunities to mitigating medical cost trend.
- Familiarity of Tableau and Microsoft Excel features and functionality to inform analytics.
- Assist in the establishment of key metrics and conduct quality assurance testing and review of data, reports, dashboards.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- 3-6 years of experience working in a Managed Care Organization on value based payment strategies.
- Familiarity with clinical, enrollment, utilization, cost, and reimbursement data and analytics.
- Ability to question the validity and accuracy of data and draw conclusions and recommendations.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
