Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations
  • Arrange tables and decorations to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to established standards
  • Serve food and beverages to guests with a smile
  • Clean and pack dishes and utensils
  • Return unserved food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the commissary
  • Check display foods to ensure they are merchandised attractively
  • Handle food items appropriately during preparation
  • Serve food neatly and attractively according to established standards
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
  • Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
  • Assist with food and table prep before events begin
  • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including opening wine and taking drink orders
  • Clean up the venue after the event ends and assist with inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks
Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must meet any applicable state and local health requirements for food handlers
