Job Summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to provide administrative support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to the OUSD(R&E) office, including processing security clearance applications, access control requests, and other sensitive information.
  • Support OUSD(R&E) personnel with clearance information, security record management, and other security-related tasks.
  • Develop and maintain continuity of operations (COOP) plans and exercises.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience or 10+ years' experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Previous experience with security support in a DoD or contractor facility, specifically in the functions of PERSEC, PHYSEC, continuity of operations, INFOSEC/OPSEC, and INDSEC.
  • Strong leadership, problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to work with Senior Executives efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office to include PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic government work environment and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity and experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) database.
  • Familiarity and experience with DoD Directives and the NISP Operating Manual (NISPOM).
