Financial Operations Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Norfolk team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our office by completing administrative and financial activities as assigned by the Billing Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Billing Specialist with weekly billing, payroll, and monthly reconciliations.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and quick book entries.
- Assist with A/R, WOTC Tax Credits, Payroll, Billing - oversight, maintaining business transactions, reconciling credit card and bank accounts, adjusting, closing, and Reversing Entries, and Preparing Monthly, Yearly Financial Statements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of general bookkeeping/accounting experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) skills.
- QuickBooks experience preferred.
