Job Overview:
As a Fitness & Wellness Coordinator at FirstService Residential, you will play a vital role in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for our residents. This position requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage the monthly fitness calendar, ensuring a variety of programs and activities for residents.
• Serve as the main liaison for scheduling with independent contractors and instructors, coordinating monthly pop-up classes and events.
• Manage local healthcare system appointment tracking and email spreadsheets weekly, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with residents.
• Calculate and update daily foot traffic spreadsheets and email to management for inclusion in end-of-month reports.
• Develop and maintain independent contractor spreadsheets, uploading new contracts, COIs, and short forms as needed.
• Manage technology platforms, ensuring the remainder of the team receives training on recent advancements and improvements.
• Conduct biweekly gym orientations for new and existing residents, providing a comprehensive overview of fitness center operations and policies.
• Manage and update online tracking platforms, such as Cozi and Event Builder, to ensure seamless communication and coordination with residents and staff.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Hospitality, or Education, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to implement and oversee procedures for proper use of exercise equipment and behavioral protocols.
• Ability to work in community-wide presentations on fitness and health-related topics, using local experts and consultants as needed.
• Available and on-call to cover staffing emergencies as required.
• Ability to lift, stand, walk, and climb stairs, as well as handle and feel objects and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.

Compensation:
$17 per hour.
