About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Manager to lead our Machine Learning Engineering team at LinkedIn. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms that power our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads in the team.
  • Collaborate with application engineering, product, and partner teams to design machine learning solutions.
  • Operate best engineering and scientific practices & processes to ensure productivity of the team and drive faster iterations via A/B experiments.
  • Attract world-class talent and provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical technical experience.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience in software engineering/technical engineering management and people management.
  • 1+ year(s) of management experience or 1+ year(s) of staff-level engineering experience with management training.
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling and machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering/technical engineering management and people management.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling and machine learning.
