Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify underlying issues and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Treatment and Intervention: Provide evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and medication management, to promote positive behavioral change and improve mental health outcomes.
  • Case Management: Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address complex mental health needs.
  • Consultation and Education: Offer consultation and education to healthcare professionals, patients, and families on mental health topics, including stress management, coping skills, and mental health resources.
  • Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research studies and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of clinical psychology and improve patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Experience: Two or more years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting, or a pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral internship, or fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
  • Licensure: Psychologist License (California).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship: Internship in an APA-approved program.
Work Environment:

This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week. The schedule includes Tuesdays (9:00am-5:30pm), Thursdays (8:30am-5:30pm), and one of either Mondays (1:00pm-4:30pm) or Wednesdays (1:00pm-4:30pm). The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
