Job Summary:

The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University is seeking Undergraduate and Graduate Student Co-ops to support research, development, and engineering activities in the Navigation Research and Development Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development of navigation algorithms
  • Work with a cooperative team of experienced engineers to support research projects
  • Build skills in simulation/analysis with MATLAB, programming in C#/C++/Python, working in Linux, filter design, simulating physical systems, and implementing control algorithms

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate and Graduate students with majors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics are preferred
  • Students must be available to work at the Warminster facility for a six month time period
  • Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation
  • You must be a U.S. citizen to apply
