Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Program Development to join our team at Visiting Angels. This key role will play a critical part in the development and management of supportive education and training for our franchise system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs and projects to enhance the care and services provided by our franchise owners.
  • Establish and promote strategies to improve the quality of care and services.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify franchisees' needs and develop solutions.
  • Build relationships with franchisees through regular communication and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform program development.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to review and evaluate resources.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct webinars and presentations at regional meetings and business builders as needed.
  • Attend annual conferences and stay informed about industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related healthcare field.
  • Active RN license with 10 years of clinical experience in acute care or post-acute care.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the home care industry, with leadership and supervisory experience a plus.
  • Experience creating and developing new training curricula and enhancing established training content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to build rapport and relationships with franchisees.
  • Strong team-building skills and ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote position working from home office.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform tasks involving a combination of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, walking, twisting, and climbing stairs.
