Winter Internship at Elliott Bay Design Group

Elliott Bay Design Group is seeking a Winter intern to join its team of professionals in naval architecture, structural and systems engineering, design and drafting, and/or vessel inspections.

Benefits and Salary
  • Paid hourly rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for students and recent graduates in maritime fields.
  • An assigned experienced Engineer will serve as a mentor, providing valuable guidance and support throughout the internship.
  • Training programs, including EBDG's Lunch & Learn program, will be available to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Field work, such as inspections, surveys, dock and sea trials, and client meetings, will provide hands-on experience and exposure to real-world projects.
  • Variety of experiences that align with each Intern's professional development and area of interest.
Requirements
  • CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A BS OF ENGINEERING DEGREE IN NAVAL ARCHITECTURE, MARINE OR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
  • In Junior or Senior year or in a Graduate level program
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino (or other modeling program), finite element, or computational fluid dynamics software is a plus.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the USA is a requirement.
