Southern Pro Staffing is seeking a skilled Weld Shop Supervisor to oversee a team of 10 to 15 welders. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with a strong background in metal fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding and advanced fitting techniques. The successful candidate will also have experience welding aluminum and steel in accordance with AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1. Additionally, they will possess strong computer skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are also beneficial. Key responsibilities include overseeing a team, fabrication and sheet metal, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
