Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including staff management, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, SOP, and QA policies.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including counseling on new therapy and as requested by patients or required by practice or state regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the facility to identify and address problems with inventory flow.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and achieve business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to proper policies and procedures for advising on, verifying, and dispensing products and customer, insurance, and licensure issues.
  • Conduct Associate meetings to identify and respond to their needs, concerns, and issues related to pharmacy products or services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
