Food Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
