Role Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for maintaining a safe, appealing, and well-functioning environment while adhering to the maintenance budget.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
  • Compassionate approach to working with the elderly
  • Basic organizational and reporting skills
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance
  • Compliance with all health requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Operations to assess and address routine maintenance needs
  • Provide maintenance updates to the Administrator and/or Director of Operations through regular reports
  • Treat the facility and its residents with the same care as your own home and family
  • Assist in fire and life safety training and drills
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of life safety protocols and operational systems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and the Administrator
  • Ensure timely repair and response for all maintenance inquiries
  • Conduct minor repairs as needed
  • Ensure the facility is mechanically sound, safe, and well-kept, with clean interiors and well-maintained surfaces
  • Oversee year-round maintenance of grounds, building exteriors, and signage, including landscaping and seasonal upkeep
