Radiologic Technologist I - General Diagnostic

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center

This role involves executing a range of standardized imaging tasks, including the setup and calibration of associated equipment and devices, while maintaining comprehensive records under the supervision of senior imaging professionals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or be eligible for registration.
  • If eligible, must successfully complete ARRT examinations within 6 months of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year of relevant experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand continuously; walking and sitting occasionally.
  • Ability to lift/carry weights of 0-10 lbs frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to push/pull weights of 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to reach constantly.
  • Ability to use hands for simple and firm grasping.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting relevant equipment, and maintaining accurate records under the guidance of senior imaging staff.
