Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve savings and inventory goals aligned with business strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and establish long-term agreements to optimize procurement processes.
  • Select suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Quality departments, to address customer needs and resolve issues related to defective goods.
  • Perform supply planning by assessing inventory levels and validating forecasts to guide investment strategies.
  • Prepare and negotiate supplier agreements to maximize savings opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy in Purchase Order acknowledgments and maintain key performance metrics.
  • Provide expertise in business processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of commodities and cost modeling.
  • Understanding of aerospace compliance and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • APICS certification in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred.
