Job Summary:
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing procedures and ensuring patient safety during clinically significant events. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures according to facility policy and procedures
- Set up and maintain equipment for diagnostic testing
- Apply electrodes and ensure patient safety during testing
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months experience in a patient care environment required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
- Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program preferred
