Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our surgical team at St. Elizabeth HealthCare. As a Surgical First Assistant RN, you will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care in the operating room.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to take on a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process
- Participate in pre-operative planning and preparation, reviewing patient charts and communicating with surgical teams
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers to ensure smooth transitions between stages of surgery
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Maintain a safe and organized operating room environment, adhering to sterile techniques and infection control protocols
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current RN license in the state where you will be working
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
- At least 2 years of experience in the operating room, with a strong background in scrub and circulating roles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-centered approach
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
