Emergency Response Specialist

At GAP Solutions, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Exercise Trainer to join our team. As an Emergency Exercise Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing resources that have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the technical and management services required to support the CDC Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and subordinate organizations with implementation of the DSO Enterprise Application and Technical Support Services (DEATSS).
Key Responsibilities:- Provide consulting in all facets of public health management and emergency response and preparedness programs, including identification and stratification, training, tabletop exercises, engagement and intervention, outcomes, and public health response operations relating to epidemiology and disease control.
- Contribute to healthcare business development by managing proposal efforts and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients.
- Manage complex components of large health-related projects or a series of smaller projects with responsibility for budget analysis, project deliverables, client relations, and staff supervision.
- Ensure that all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques.
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of experience with emergency management and disaster preparedness
- 5+ years of experience with working in a professional environment
- Experience with technical and scientific writing and editing
- Experience with emergency management exercises
- Experience with Microsoft Office365, including Word, Excel, Power Point
- Knowledge of public health emergency response processes- Ability to establish a rapport with clients
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
