Recreation Coordinator (CTRS)

Premier Senior Living Facilities

We are seeking a dedicated Recreation Coordinator (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) to become a vital part of our team at The Palace.

Primary Duties:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of engaging activity programs for residents.
  • Oversee the decoration of the facility for celebrations, seasonal festivities, and special occasions.
  • Manage and track inventory of materials and resources.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during all activities.
  • Conduct interviews with residents and document information in our management system.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid license as an Activities Director or be a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
  • Experience in a recreational environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational abilities and creative thinking.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable interacting with elderly individuals.
