About the Role

BEUMER Group is a leading international manufacturer of intralogistics solutions, specializing in conveying, loading, palletizing, packaging, sortation, and distribution technology. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of our automated systems at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Commission, modify, troubleshoot, and support related equipment at customer locations or where needed, ensuring the highest quality of work.
  • Travel and Site Work: Travel 80% of the time to project locations for extended periods, working closely with customers and project teams.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and/or review technical documentation for accuracy, collaborating with project managers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Customer Interface: Provide technical interface between customers and project managers, ensuring professional communication and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Remote Support: Offer remote technical support for customers as assigned, providing timely and professional assistance.
  • Programming and Maintenance: Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs, handle EPROMs, and maintain Fanuc Robots and tools.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate commissioning/troubleshooting activities to the appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner, developing effective professional relationships with customers and project personnel.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent Electro/Mechanical skills.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret circuit diagrams, proficiency in Siemens S7, Ladder, and STL programs, Allen Bradley (all lines), and remote software handling.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, heavy lifting/material handling skills, professionalism, and excellent time management ability.
