Required Education:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers, team members, and management.
  • Decision-making capabilities essential for handling customer interactions.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and analyze customer inquiries to determine appropriate responses.
  • Proven proficiency in operating a CRT and PC.

Position Summary:

The Client Relations Specialist is responsible for delivering prompt and efficient service to both internal and external customers related to assigned products and services. This role involves consulting and interpreting contract provisions for current and past products, as well as for policyholders, agents, brokers, and other operational units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and respond to inquiries from customers, brokers, agents, and government agencies.
  • Engage with customers and the agency/brokerage network through both oral and written communication.
  • Assist customers with financial transactions.
  • Consult on and interpret contract provisions for various products and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contract and product provisions, as well as relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Resolve routine errors that require corrective actions.
  • Identify situations needing advanced technical knowledge or exception processing and escalate as necessary.
  • Process monetary transactions in accordance with policy provisions within designated limits.
  • Review, research, and interpret records and reports to make informed decisions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
