Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Interventional Radiology Technologist is accountable for the comprehensive care and assessment of patients undergoing invasive procedures in the Interventional Lab. Responsibilities include assisting in procedures, monitoring patients physiologically, and performing sterile scrub duties for both diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular interventions, and other physician-directed invasive tasks. This role will require availability for after-hours coverage for urgent vascular procedures and will involve direct collaboration with multiple Radiologists.

Required Qualifications:
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT, SCRQSA, BLS - Healthcare provider.
  • Education: Graduate from an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification.
  • Experience: Prior experience in General Interventional procedures is preferred. The candidate must fulfill the outlined job responsibilities and successfully complete an annual evaluation based on these duties. Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of patients and both internal and external clients.
