Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Technologist is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during invasive procedures in the Interventional Lab. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Circulating and Physiological Monitoring: Safely and efficiently circulate patients during procedures, monitoring their vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns.
  • Scrub Procedures: Perform sterile scrub procedures for diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular procedures, and other physician-guided invasive procedures.
  • Collaboration with Radiologists: Work closely with multiple radiologists to ensure seamless execution of procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
  • After-Hours Coverage: Provide after-hours coverage for acute emergent vascular procedures, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current ARRT certification, SCRQSA registration, and BLS – Healthcare provider certification.
  • Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT.
  • Experience: Previous experience in general interventional procedures is preferred, with a strong foundation in radiologic technology and patient care.
