Job Summary

Civista Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch operations, you will be responsible for driving branch performance, sales growth, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop the branch team to achieve sales excellence and deliver world-class customer service.
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly coaching, communication, and monitoring of individual and team performance.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to fulfill customer needs and solve problems.
  • Model behaviors for team growth, with a focus on speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly customer satisfaction metrics, both individually and as a team.
  • Lead, coach, and exhibit a working knowledge of all aspects of the consumer lending process.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management to provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Manage branch staffing, including interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail or branch banking environment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Work involves eye strain due to constant use of computer screens.
  • Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand, under sometimes distracting work conditions.
  • Work involves lifting and moving files of up to 50 lbs.
  • Work involves ability to read, hear, write, and communicate professionally.
