We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding career opportunity as an Operating Room Nurse at Skyline Med Staff Nursing. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery.
About the Position:
This Perioperative Nurse position requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, surgical assistance, and postoperative care.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Preoperative Care: Assess patients' medical histories, perform physical assessments, and verify necessary tests before surgery.
- Intraoperative Care: Assist the surgical team by providing sterile instruments and equipment during procedures, monitor patients' vital signs, and document all aspects of the surgery.
- Postoperative Care: Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, assess vital signs, and provide postoperative education to patients and their families.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
