Role Responsibilities:

Core Duties:

  • Welcome guests and provide menu recommendations
  • Ensure restaurant is properly set up
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of menu items and preparation techniques
  • Utilize suggestive selling methods
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate any concerns to management
  • Process guest checks and payments accurately
  • Keep the dining area clean and organized
  • Assist with setting and clearing tables
  • Report tips in accordance with IRS standards

  • Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Preferred Certifications: Food Safety Handling and TIPS Certification
  • Experience: Familiarity with MICROS system is a plus
  • Availability: Flexible schedule required
  • Education: High School Diploma is mandatory, with 3 years of experience in restaurant service preferred
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to memorize menu items and specials

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Engage in regular talking and hearing
  • Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
