As a Patient Access Coordinator at KabaFusion, you will play a vital role in processing referrals and ensuring patients receive exceptional care. This includes working with commercial, private, and government insurances, as well as acute and chronic therapies such as IVIg, TPNs, and antibiotics.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate the intake process, gathering relevant data from referral sources and completing intake paperwork.
- Verify insurance and eligibility, and obtain authorizations when necessary.
- Complete start of care paperwork.
- Contact patients to confirm information and notify them of their financial obligations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
- At least 2 years of previous intake experience, including eligibility and authorization.
