About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Portland Trimet Lift Operator at Transdev. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a transit bus or van and transport passengers with disabilities safely in accordance with Company policy and local, county, state, and federal laws.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle in allotted time.
  • Provide door-to-door assistance to passengers to safely travel between the vehicle and the door of home or destination.
  • Operate all various types of vehicles, as assigned, safely, in all types of weather and traffic conditions, according to schedules.
  • Collect proper cash fares, following fare collection procedures.
  • Report all accidents, incidents, or unusual occurrences to dispatch office immediately; submit written reports on accidents, incidents or unusual occurrences as required.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must have a good driving record.
  • 5 year driving history required.
  • No CDL required.
