Motion Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our client's mechanical engineering team and drive the transition of their cutting-edge warehouse robotic product from development to full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, development, and production readiness of the mechanical systems, ensuring that the product meets all performance, reliability, and cost objectives.
  • Guide the mechanical engineering efforts for our client's flagship humanoid warehouse robotic product.
  • Manage and motivate a team of mechanical engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launch.
  • Develop and implement cost optimization techniques to reduce production costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of taking complex mechanical systems, particularly in robotics or automation, from concept to mass production.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost optimization techniques.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and mechanical analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
