**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Nighttime Pastry Specialist to join our team at Panera Bread. As an Overnight Baker, you will be responsible for preparing our bread and bakery items each night according to our high standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Bake bread and bakery items according to Panera Bread standards
  • Execute a variety of tasks including prep, cleaning, and stocking
  • Partner with and support cafe managers and teammates as needed
  • Meet the physical demands of the job and maintain a clean and safe work environment

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum age of 18 to operate all equipment
  • Some high school education or equivalent preferred
  • Prior baking, restaurant, or food service experience
  • Ability to work independently overnight (approx. 9pm-8am)
  • Self-starter with the ability to organize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Approved criminal background check

Our bakery operates 363 days per year, and work schedules are written to meet business needs. We are a non-grease and tobacco-free environment, and we do not serve alcohol.
