Job Title: Staff RN, Intensive Care Unit, Fulltime, Nights

PeaceHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical ICU team as a Charge Nurse. This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE, night shift position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager/Director in coordinating unit activities to ensure safe and clinically effective patient care.
  • Support and direct staff members in providing compassionate care and services to patients and families from diverse ethnic and social groups.
  • Coordinate patient care by shift and department.
  • Supervise and assess clinical practice, coaching staff to achieve individual and organizational goals.
  • Identify and apply opportunities for clinical practice improvement and support staff in implementing changes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months critical care experience in an acute care facility within the last 5 years or successful completion of an approved critical care training course/orientation and standard competencies within 6 months of hire.
  • Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or equivalent preferred.
  • Oregon state nursing license.
  • Ability to support and interpret medical center's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications.
