Overview

At Amedisys, we're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients in their homes. As a PRN Day Shift SLP, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you're assigned to work.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at an accredited institution.
  • Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.
