Commercial Operations Manager

At Resolve Marine, we are committed to excellence in marine salvage and wreck removal. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our commercial activities, including business development, marketing, tendering for projects, contract management, and commercial oversight of salvage and wreck removal projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and coordinate marine salvage and wreck removal contracts
- Manage and negotiate contracts as part of the project team
- Primary point of contact with owners and insurance companies in the event of an incident or tender
- Commercial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders of the salvage/wreck removal project
- Closely coordinate with regional offices and corporate administrative departments
- Manage the closing of all legal/contractual matters related to the salvage/wreck removal contracts
- Responsible for cost control and communication of salvage/wreck removal operations
- Under supervision of senior staff, prepare for financial settlement of the contract
- Responsible for daily reporting to clients
- Client acquisition and management, relationship management
- Ensure client satisfaction during salvage/wreck removal operations remains intact
- Manage the preferred contract list integrity
- Manage and grow third-party and subcontractor networks
- Key contributor to market intelligence by providing day-to-day input of market data and participating in data analysis
- Leverage market data for client management
- Adhere to Company's procedures and systems
- Advocate for compliance with company, safety, quality, hygiene, and nautical regulations, as well as other relevant regulations and stipulations
- Manage relationships and collaborate to drive efficiency opportunities throughout the organization with process improvement in mind
- Act as an On-Call Commercial Duty Officer
- Supervise/manage employees/commercial coordinators, as well as supervise and guide the network partner and subcontractor relationship in execution of Resolve business
- Bachelor's degree, Maritime Academy degree, or equivalent and relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial management, chartering, ship brokerage, seagoing/mariner experience, shipping, or related discipline
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Prior experience as a people leader strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and effective communicator, as well as situational awareness, is a must. Ability to establish a productive and effective method of communication regardless of the situation, both verbally and in writing, with key stakeholders and at all levels
- Must be able to manage, develop, and execute on competing priorities while under pressure
- Deadline-oriented and the ability to execute to the delivery date
- Must be a team player and a collaborative member of engagement
- Proven dedication and success in chasing and executing work as part of a collective team effort and champion team wins, rather than an individual win
- Must accept and appreciate a multi-cultural organization, as well as productively work in diversity settings to appreciate the differences and the global process engagement that will come from it
