The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
As an Employee Benefits Account Manager at GPAC, you will be responsible for preparing pre-renewal, renewal, and marketing reports, comparing health plan benefits and costs, and calculating employee contributions. You will also prepare annual client service plans, collect new client information, and author correspondence, communication materials, and compliance notices as required. Additionally, you will negotiate rates and benefits, audit client information, premium, and commission splits, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a Health & Life License, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point. You should also have knowledge of employee benefits/health plan implementation and administration, as well as practical experience in regulatory issues such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and various state and federal regulations specific to health insurance. Ability to negotiate rates and benefits with carriers is also essential.
