Job Summary

Santa Barbara City College is seeking a highly qualified Part-time Faculty Pool Instructor to teach Esthetics courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality instruction, creating a supportive learning environment, and assessing student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Esthetics courses, including lecture and lab classes, as assigned by the department.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and the college.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair or dean.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Esthetics or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of experience in Esthetics, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use technology, including learning management systems and online tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Esthetics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Esthetics courses.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
