Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Professional to join our team at RightWorks Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed plans and construction documents for structural and bridge construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structural design plans for State and Municipally owned structures under the supervision of a lead engineer.
  • Perform engineering computations to support the development of detailed plans and construction documents.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control and quality assurance procedures.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with other members of the design team.
  • Perform bridge site visits for data collection and Load Ratings on State and Municipally owned bridges and other structures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one preferred.
  • Three to five years of prior structural engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
  • Competent use of MIDAS Civil, AASHTOWare Brr, and/or Csi Bridge.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
