KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce Inc. is looking for a Financial Analyst I to support our financial operations. This role involves a hybrid work model, allowing for both in-office and remote work.

  • Conduct thorough due diligence in accordance with AML/BSA/CTF regulations, independently investigating alerts related to our clientele using various investigative tools.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate summaries of investigations, including the creation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
  • Establish and nurture strong working relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and support to Risk Monitoring analysts to enhance their skills in AML/BSA/CTF detection and management.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the Risk Monitoring team regarding potential AML/BSA/CTF issues, collaborating on investigations as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements to enhance the effectiveness of our detection systems.
  • Stay informed about developments in AML/BSA/CTF/OFAC regulations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our business operations, products, services, systems, and associated risks.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Financial Services, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or related fields is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CAMS or CFE are advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in credit card and ACH Fraud, AML, BSA, CTF, and investigation within a global financial context is essential.
  • Familiarity with SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) processes and logical research methodologies is necessary.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
  • A strong desire to research and comprehend complex information is essential.
  • Proficient computer and internet navigation skills to effectively utilize various proprietary systems and investigative tools.
  • Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to present findings to senior management.
  • Comfortable collaborating with law enforcement, legal teams, and auditors.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
  • Ability to understand corporate policies and practices that influence compliance and risk management.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to influence peers towards common objectives.
  • Knowledge of the financial services regulatory landscape is important.
  • Results-oriented and assertive, particularly in challenging situations.
