We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Health Infusion Nurse. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices. This will involve comprehensive patient assessments, nursing interventions, pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide nursing interventions and education to patients and caregivers to promote healthy lifestyles and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with prescribing physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with state, HIPAA, and TJC requirements.
  • Participate in Shared Governance and integrate evidence-based research into practice.
Requirements
  • 3 years of RN experience with 24/7 accountability.
  • Ability to complete Intrathecal Nurse Fellowship Orientation program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a resourceful, proactive problem solver.
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICU/ER/OR and/or home care experience.
  • Solid understanding of chronic pain/rehab principles.
  • BSN degree.
