Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices. This will involve comprehensive patient assessments, nursing interventions, pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medication and perform pump refills as prescribed by the patient's physician.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers on healthy lifestyle choices and symptom management.
- Collaborate with the patient's healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on infusion therapy or home health care.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
- Experience working in ICU, ER, or OR settings.
- Knowledge of chronic pain management principles.
- BSN degree.
