Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team at Matrix Providers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and Diagnose: Conduct thorough eye exams to diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases.
  • Treat and Prescribe: Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide guidance on eye care and vision conservation.
  • Conduct Research: Participate in vision research to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in optometry.
  • Advise and Consult: Provide expert advice and consultation on optometric-related matters to patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide Clinical Services: Offer a full range of clinical services to treat complex optometric-related patient conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Possess a certification to use Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the last 3 years, with expertise in post-operative refractive surgery and patient selection.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an optometrist.
