Matrix Providers is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to become a vital member of our skilled team, delivering healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families.
Work Environment:- Department: Optometry Division within Occupational Health
- Hourly Rate: $92.00
- Relocation Support: Available
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2 or 3 days per week (8 hours each day)
- Work-Life Balance: No nights or weekends required
- Educational Background: Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Accreditation: Graduate from an ACOE-approved institution.
- Certification: Must hold a certification for Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents.
- Professional Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience within the last 3 years.
- Familiarity with post-operative refractive surgery, including Excimer laser, PRK, and LASIK, along with experience in patient selection and co-management.
- Licensure: Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice optometry.
- Conduct comprehensive examinations, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the visual system and associated structures.
- Promote eye health through education, prevention, and wellness initiatives.
- Engage in vision research addressing complex issues, leading to innovative solutions.
- Provide expert clinical recommendations on national optometry-related matters.
- Deliver a wide range of clinical services to manage intricate optometric conditions.
