Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Mechanicsville, VA. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Room, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Job:

This is a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care hospital with a 243-bed capacity. The facility is equipped with a range of charting systems, including 3M Health, Dell EMC, Epic, FinThrive, and GE Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, and move equipment
