Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Deaf Education Specialist to join our team at ProCare Therapy.


Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students with hearing impairments.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective communication and support for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt instruction as needed.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $28/hour, commensurate with experience. Additionally, they will be eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as 401(k) matching.


Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education or related field.
  • State teaching certification in Deaf Education required.
  • Ability to meet Every Student Succeed Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements.

About the Role

This is a full-time, onsite position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
