Job Overview

360 Rail Services is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to support our railroad infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in topographical and construction surveys, proficiency in using Trimble equipment, and experience with Trimble Business Center software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct topographical and construction surveys to collect accurate data for project planning and execution.
  • Utilize Trimble equipment to conduct field surveys, including GPS and total station work.
  • Process survey data using Trimble Business Center and provide detailed reports and layouts for engineering and construction teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure the quality and accuracy of ongoing construction-related surveys.
  • Prepare and maintain survey records, data, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to perform survey work and support project teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Land Surveyor, with a focus on topographical and construction surveys.
  • Proficiency in using Trimble survey equipment, including GPS and total stations.
  • Strong experience with Trimble Business Center software.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid surveyor's license or certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
