We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Oncologist to join our team at the University of Utah. As a member of our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and advancing our research in pediatric solid tumors and sarcomas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical patient care services to patients with cancer and blood disorders, focusing on solid tumors and sarcomas.
  • Engage in a multidisciplinary pediatric sarcoma/solid tumor clinic and manage care of patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient unit.
  • Collaborate with an outstanding group of pediatric musculoskeletal and general surgeons, as well as with the solid tumor/sarcoma program, which includes an active clinical and basic research program.
  • Interact with oncologists, endocrinologists, radiation oncologists, physical therapists, neuropsychologists, advanced practitioners, and basic scientists.
  • Perform clinical duties at Primary Children's Hospital outpatient clinic and inpatient unit in Salt Lake City, UT, as well as the soon-to-open Miller Campus of Primary Children's Hospital in Lehi, UT.
  • Contribute to academic work, including education, investigation, administration, and advocacy.

Our division is a growing and dynamic team of over 20 pediatric oncologists, including 4 pediatric BMT attendings, and 3 PhD investigators. We are committed to advancing our research in pediatric oncology and providing exceptional patient care.

Requirements
  • Board Qualified/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology with focused training in pediatric oncology, including solid tumors/sarcomas.
  • Clinical and research (laboratory, translational, or clinical) focus in pediatric solid tumors and sarcomas.
